Our History

PresentersPlus was the original name for what is now known as Contagious Companies, Inc.

In 2003, Monica Wofford, CSP, founded PresentersPlus, Inc., where she filled the role of president. There she designed and delivered training to Fortune 1000 companies with audiences ranging from 10 to 800 learners. In 2006, Wofford transformed PresentersPlus into Monica Wofford International, providing comprehensive corporate training and coaching that enhances the careers and lives of employees,

while creating measurable return-on-investment for companies.

In 2008, the company known as Monica Wofford International, Inc became a division of the multi-division company known today as Contagious Companies, Inc.

While Monica still provides Coaching, Speaking, Consulting and Training, alongside team members, she primarily serves as the CEO of Contagious Companies, Inc. This five division Orlando based training and consulting firm provides a well-rounded offering of services for leaders, managers, employees, and training departments. The team Wofford has the privilege of leading within Contagious Companies, includes Janine, serving as Director of Operations, Bernice, serving as Executive Assistant, and many other invaluable team members both locally and internationally based as well as, a host of wonderful coaches and partners in professional training.

The Contagious Companies name began as a slogan on a t-shirt and title of a book more than 10 years ago.

There were 8600 high school and college students in Monica's first keynote audience. Since then, more than 22 years ago, she has honed her skills to provide your audience with contagious wit, humor, and skills that stick!

The original author of Contagious Leadership™, Monica Wofford provides a dose of Contagious Leadership™, Contagious Confidence™, Contagious Communication™ and Contagious Culture™ through her customized training programs, keynote presentations, coaching, and consulting services.

Monica has had the privilege of working with companies including Hallmark, AT&T, the US Mint, the FAA, State Farm, Estee Lauder, the US Government, But Out Pest Control, Hormel Foods, SeaWorld, Olympus and many others.

Recently, she was nominated as a Woman of Distinction, two years in a row, by the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council, and awarded as one of the Top Five Up and Comers by Orlando Business Journal's Women Who Mean Business. In addition, Wofford has earned the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) Designation, an honor held by less than 7% of speakers worldwide, and is a member of the International Federation for Professional Speakers.

A sought-after trainer, Monica Wofford, MBA, CSP leverages not only entertainment and enthusiasm, but scientific research and data in her keynote speeches and training courses, primarily through the use of the CORE® Profile Tool. This tool can also be applied to her curriculum design and coaching services in a way that positively impacts both behavior and performance.

Her proven strategies, timely techniques and wise insights gathered from 12 years in corporate leadership, 8 years as a business owner, and 22 years of public speaking experience, literally transform managers into leaders, service people into service providers, and shy speakers into powerful presenters.

In an effort to give back to her community, Monica also served as the 2007-2010 President of the Board of Freedom Ride, www.freedomride.com, a 5013c organization that works with adults and children with disabilities to provide therapeutic riding and other services. She now also serves on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council. www.gscc-citrus.org

For her speaking community Monica served as the 2007-2008 Vice President of Programs of NSA Central Florida, www.nsacentralflorida.com, the 2009-2010 President of NSA Central Florida, and the President's Council Chair, representing all chapter NSA chapter Presidents Nationwide. She now serves on the National Strategic Planning Advisory Board for NSA, helping to determine the future direction of this association and is the Editorial Advisory Chair for the 2011-2012 SPEAKER Magazine, as well as a Member of the National Board of Directors.
