You know you can’t pack up an hour, put it in Tupperware and freeze it for later. So how do you manage your time before it manages you?

Happy August! Hard to believe, but its here and so are the longer lists of things to do as we ramp up for back to school. Leader’s need training, too this time of year and that has inspired the What To Do series of learning and ebooks. In this first issue of our series, this Monday Moment explores what to do when you have too much to do and comes with a downloadable ebook. Check it out!

For your time management needs, this eBook and Monday moment explores:

How to Restructure What’s On Your List

A million things on the list of what you the leader must do today is a losing proposition. While you can’t really manage the time you have, you can sure manage how you use that time. For this tip, review page 6, 7, and 8 closely.

How to Prioritize Simply, Quickly and Effectively

If we could all prioritize and manage our time effectively, procrastination would not be a popular leadership training topic. However, prioritization has to be simple and easy to implement, otherwise it makes you think too much and you’ll just do whatever is easiest or shiniest at the moment.

Breathe

Yep, I said it. Breathe. You have to, for one. For two, when you’re overwhelmed, you lose perspective. Take the next five minutes to breathe while you read the eBook and plan your attack on those items on your list. You really can do it all, but while you’re breathing I want you to ask yourself if you should.

I’m Monica Wofford and that’s your Monday Moment. Have a great week, an even better Monday, and of course, stay contagious!
