Good morning and Happy Monday!
I’m Monica Wofford and this is your Monday Moment.

Think about it. Much like turtles don’t climb trees and lions don’t love swimming in a river, we’re easily able to assign simplicity animals, but when it comes to

Much as turtles don't climb trees, not all people you lead are going to be good at all things.

We give simplicity to the animal kingdom, but they why with people, do leaders expect ALL people to be good at ALL things?

people…? Why do we as leaders still expect ALL things from ALL people. We expect and encourage ALL traits from ALL team members, and then wonder why WE get frustrated.

Is it possible it is WE who holds some of the issue?

Not everyone WANTS to be promoted. Not everyone WILL be good at all tasks you give them. And not every leader is good at hiring well for the right position.

Where do your frustrations flare up when around those you see as different, or ‘more complicated’ or even… difficult?

I’m Monica Wofford and that’s your Monday Moment.
