Good morning and Happy Monday.
I’m Monica Wofford and this is your Monday Moment.

It’s that time of year and the holiday season and with the exception of the gathering around a turkey or a cute sign somebody picked up from a popular home goods shop, sometimes that LAST thing we’re thinking about is gratitude or being grateful…at the office.

Monday Moment with Monica on the gratitude mindset for the holiday season. Not a subscriber? Sign up today at: www.MondayMoment.com.

While the holidays can be filled with mayhem and chaos, gratitude prevails and can be a sanity saver. Perhaps today is the day to share a note, word, or even email of thanks to those you have the privilege of leading. 🙂

The pressure is on for end of year sales and financials. The list of things to do and events to attend merely adds to an already full plate that quickly feels like one giant platter. Family might stop by and for some of them there’s a reason you don’t live nearby. Then there’s the delicate nature of how to handle any holiday greeting at the office and the time off requests that keep coming in that make you wonder if anyone will actually be working until January.

Okay, maybe it’s not THAT bad, but man, the reality is your focus this holiday season may not always be all twinkle lights and happy stuffed tummies.

Stop rushing for a moment. Stop running and thinking and fretting over what’s in front of you. Take a moment to look around. Take it all in and perhaps be grateful for all that’s in front of you in your environment. What you have is someone’s goal and what you do is on someone’s wish list. Be the leader who is able to pause and adopt a gratitude mindset.

I’m Monica Wofford and that’s your Monday Moment.
