Well hello there and Happy Monday! I’m Monica Wofford and this is your Monday Moment.
Whether you say Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, or just nod and smile when you hear either, it’s the merry in the message that matters.
While some workplaces mandate a Happy Holidays or Enjoy your Season type of greeting, remember to be mindful of the intent of being given a greeting. You likely wouldn’t say “buzz off” to those who said Happy Friday, would you? Well, for those you might call difficult, don’t answer that. Haha.
Be happy about YOUR holiday or be happy that it’s almost over and remember that most who are giving you a greeting, at the office or even while shopping, their intent isn’t to offend, but rather to simply share the joy of their season.

May your week be filled with gifts you notice and may not even have been expecting, lives you cherish, and feelings of joy no matter what you may be facing.
